How To Obtain

To obtain a certified copy of a marriage certificate from Anoka County, the marriage license must have been purchased in Anoka County.

• You can purchase a certified copy of a marriage certificate at the Government Center Vital Statistics office or at any Anoka County License Center.  Or...
• You can order a certified copy of a marriage certificate by mail or fax.  Send the Marriage Certificate Request Form, along with the required fee and the Vital Statistics Credit Card Form to the Government Center Vital Statistics office.

To obtain a certified copy of a marriage certificate, you will need to provide:

• bride's full maiden/prior name
• groom's full name
• date of marriage

Required Forms

• Download and print the Marriage Certificate Request Form (Adobe Acrobat format)
• If submitting an order by mail or fax, download and print the Vital Statistics Credit Card Form (Adobe Acrobat format)

Required Fees (effective 8-1-05)

$9.00 for each certified copy.

Anoka County License Centers can accept payment by cash or check.

If submitting an order by mail or fax, you can pay with VISA or MasterCard by using the Vital Statistics Credit Card Form (Adobe Acrobat format)
