How To Obtain

A Minnesota motor vehicle title can be transferred from seller to buyer, in person, at any Anoka County License Center.

Buyer presents completed Title certificate, insurance company name and policy number, and drivers license or state issued identification card.

"Seller's" portion of Title, including signature(s), date of sale, odometer statement, and damage and emissions disclosure statements, must be completed BY THE SELLER(S).

Go to the Minnesota Department of Vehicle Services Web site then click on "ID Requirements" for current rules on required identification.

Required Fees

Varies, according to classification and year of vehicle.

Anoka County License Centers can accept payment by cash or check.
