How To Obtain

You must first obtain a Notary Public Commission from the Minnesota Department of Commerce.  For more information, see the Minnesota Secretary of State Web site.

After you receive your commission card, register your commission with Anoka County in person at the Government Center Vital Statistics Administration office or at any Anoka County License Center.  Or, you can mail your commission card, your signature on company letterhead or blank sheet of paper, and the required fee to:

If you wish to pay for Notary Public Registration by credit card, please print, fill out and include the Vital Statistics Credit Card Form.

Required Fee

$100.00 (effective July 1, 2003)

Anoka County License Centers can accept payment by cash or check.
