Transient Merchant LicenseFor information about other licenses and services, see the License Bureau home page Minnesota Statute 329.099 requires that any out-of-state business coming into Anoka County to sell goods or services must purchase a Transient Merchant License. The license is valid for one year, only at the place indicated on the original application. How To Obtain
Required FormsDownload the Transient Merchant License application form (Adobe Acrobat format), type in your information and print it, and... Download the Certification of Compliance form (Adobe Acrobat format), type in your information and print it, or... Pick up the application form and compliance form at the Government Center Vital Statistics office, or... Request that the application form and compliance form be sent to you. Required IdentificationNotarization requires a Driver's License or State Identification Card. Required FeesA surety bond is required in the amount of $1,000.00, designating Anoka County on the line that reads "bound onto _______."
