Ski by the Light of the Moon
Imagine yourself on a brisk winter evening, enjoying the
brilliant light of a full moon, the smell of fresh snow, the feel of
a brisk wind, and the sight of Minnesota wildlife. Imagine no more!
The Anoka County Parks and Recreation Department invites you to join
other cross-country ski enthusiasts for an exhilarating outdoors
experience skiing by the light of the moon and afterward, enjoying
dinner around the fireplace. It all takes place on Friday, February
22, from 6-9 p.m. at the Chomonix Golf Course ski area in Lino
Lakes.
This event is open to people of all ages and skiing abilities.
The program fee of $7/adults and $5/children includes food,
beverage, and skiing. Pre-registration and payment is required by
calling 651-429-8007. A limited supply of ski equipment is available
for rent for $6 per person.
