Spring Weight Restrictions on Anoka County Roads Effective March 14,
2008
Spring Road Weight Restrictions will go into effect on all Anoka
County Highways on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 12:01a.m. These
restrictions, which protect our highways from excessive damage
during the spring thaw, will remain in effect until further notice.
All roads will be posted with signs indicating maximum allowable
axle loads. The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office along with the State
Highway Patrol will enforce these limitations.
Any questions regarding specific route postings should be directed
to Anoka County Highway Department at (763) 862-4200. Maps showing
the specific restrictions are available at the Highway Department.
