Rethinking recycling

Aluminum CanThe energy it takes to recycle is nothing compared to the energy it saves.

If it seems like too much effort to recycle, consider this: most people use 25,000 cans in their lifetime, and it take 95% less energy to make aluminum cans from recycled material than it does to produce them from scratch.  In fact, when you trash a single can, it’s like dumping 6 ounces of gasoline.  Every can counts. Recycle more.
